Ahmed Larouz

Ahmed has spent more than 25 years building businesses, ecosystems and bridges across Europe, Morocco and Africa. He founded his first consultancy, Mexit, in 1999, grew it to 22 consultants and sold it. In 2007 he founded Bridgizz, a cleantech and social entrepreneurship organisation active across Europe, Africa and MENA.
He is National Lead of ClimateLaunchpad Morocco, leads the Women in Cleantech initiative and co-founded Morocco Fonds, the first Dutch fund dedicated to Morocco's development and bilateral cooperation. He has advised governments and public institutions across Morocco and Africa on strategy and investment, served on the board of a local Rabobank and on numerous boards across two continents, and coached leaders in ministerial and entrepreneurial circles.
A builder at scale, he grew the Ramadan Festival into one of the largest festivals in the Netherlands, running in 42 Dutch cities and 5 international cities. He is the author of 180Amsterdammers and holds a Computer Science degree from The Hague Polytechnic.
